Keep it Simple
"There is no
secret to success, though there are many valuable things to make
the journey more efficient and more enjoyable. All you do is
find out for sure what the successful person is doing, and go to
work." -Vance
This is really a simple business. Once you are convinced of the
value of our training, you can simply invite people to
participate in Trading Post's live presentations Monday and
Tuesday at 9pm ET, live meeting, or your personal .biz or .net
websites to learn more.
These presentations give each person a vision of what the Forex
is and how each of us can fit into that picture. Once someone has
listened to the presentation, I simply put people on an email
list with a designation in my address book that lets me know
that they have listened a presentation. I send them "down to
Earth" invitations to come and watch again, and I often will
copy and paste results from my demo trading station. I also encourage
people to ask questions. So all you really have to do is believe
in the value of our training, invite people to the presentations,
and then send them out an FX Update from time to time. And for
the person who is primarily interested in trading, this is
enough, and you don't need to go any farther.

Your Own Business |

Intro to Forex |
|
You can
use this
Icon invitation letter to invite your
contacts to your site. Once your contact has
viewed the Introduction to Forex, send them an
Icon follow-up letter
which includes an invitation to view three free
lessons.
|
| |
|
Once your contact has viewed
the Intro they can
view the three free lessons. Once they have viewed this
session, send them a
Mini Course follow-up letter. |

We've made it easy for you to invite and follow up with
your contacts. On the right, you will find
invitation templates. These are just some email templates that
we have used and found to be quite effective.
After your contacts have viewed a presentation, you put
them on a Weekly Update list. Develop an email list
whereby you can keep them informed with brief updates
about trading and how you are doing. Below the
Invitation Templates on the right, there are the Weekly
Update Templates. These are some examples of
weekly updates that we send to our contact list.
Tips from Freya
Weekly Update -Freya
I follow up with my contacts weekly by sending them
updates on new things happening with Trading Post, on
special conference calls for guests, live meetings
happening locally, brief personal updates (if it's my
birthday, a holiday or something special going on - like
last summer when I had Lasik done). Sometimes I just
remind them it's a great time to learn to trade on the
Forex and send them my site to watch the presentations! It's just important to keep in touch, and most
people appreciate being "kept in the loop" :)
Weekly Update List -Freya
I send Weekly Updates to all my FX contacts. I use
Outlook Express, and put the designation in the Home
Phone slot, and phone number in Business Phone slot. I
use the designation/Home Phone slot to sort all my email addresses. For example,
"family" or "friend". For business, if someone is
interested in learning about a new life skill where they
can make money with their computer and internet
connection, or just want to know what I'm working on
these days, they get a "Icon" designation. Once they've
viewed the presentation, I change their designation to "FX",
then to "FX IN" when they've joined the team.
With my weekly updates, I sometimes change the email a
bit for the "Icon" folks - just to keep it simple for
them. |

How to Become a 5 Star - by Vance |
|
View Document |
The Magic of
Becoming a 5 Star |
|
Many team members have read this document and
found it really inspiring. This
well-written document will definitely give you
some insights in the journey of becoming a 5
Star. |
|
|
People have asked me how to
do the business. The business is simple. Ask
anyone on the team who has actively shared this with
others and been successful and they will tell you the
same thing. 1. Get people to the presentations 2. Put them on
an email list and send them new information weekly.
If you are wondering where to find people, then you are
not ready to share this business with people, anymore
than you would be ready to share a restaurant you simply
don't love.
I don't consider "casual" referring (above) as building
a business. It can turn into a business later, no
question, but that's not a business. Business is
something a bit more involved. It involves a
commitment. The biggest difference between the
casual referrer and 5 Star business person can be seen
in a simple American breakfast. Take bacon and
eggs, for example: The chicken was involved, but
the pig was definitely committed. And that is how
I feel when I get involved in a business. It's a big
deal. Anything worth doing is worth doing well, as
they say. But I cannot do a good job unless I know
myself and the business.
So becoming a 5 Star is a much, much bigger deal.
It's treating network building like a business.
The rewards are much different, too. Remember that you
are now stepping into the biggest market in the world -
WHILE it is in its infancy, no less.
On the right is the document that I have written for
those of you who think you might like to become a 5 Star |

What is a Leader? |
|
A leader is simple. A
leader is someone who can show others the way.
Isn't that the simple definition? |
|
|
I see us building something.
This website is simply a method of communicating what we
are doing to build the house, so to speak. It is
here for anyone to see. This plan is so strong
that there is no need to spend countless hours trying to
motivate others. If making millions trading and
building a network are not enough motivation - if really
helping people is not enough motivation, anything I
could say would be, at best, a temporary distraction. So
my plan is to show, as much as possible, exactly how we
do things. |
